While the International Labour Organization is celebrating 100 years of advancing social justice and promoting decent work, 152 million children are still in child labour. Child labour occurs in almost all sectors. 7 out of every 10 of these children are working in agriculture.

Platform for Labour Action (PLA) is a National Civil Society Organization that was founded in the year 2000. PLA is focused on promoting and protecting the rights of vulnerable and marginalized workers through empowerment of communities and individuals in Uganda.
